Elder

Elder is a patch for Organelle M. Four voices, played from the keyboard, running into three reverbs that decay at different rates. It is built around holding. Press and it warms up; let go and it takes its time — the release is a knob, and at the top it is long enough that you will play the next chord over the last one.

  K1  Warm - voice tone

  K2  Drift - release length, and how far the voices wander

  K3  Speed - the rate underneath everything

  K4  Tremor - an unsteadiness that never quite settles

  AUX Bloom - opens the long tail

Three tails run in parallel: a short room, a churn that folds back on itself, and a ghost that takes about a minute to fully go. AUX opens the ghost. Everything you have played is still in there somewhere.
