Estuary

Estuary is a patch for Organelle M. Twenty-four oscillators in slow motion, arranged so they drift past each other rather than lock together. It has no attack. Notes arrive the way a tide does — you notice it has come in, not the moment it did.

  K1  Speed - how fast everything moves

  K2  Bend - pitch, continuous, no scale

  K3  Drift - how far the oscillators wander apart

  K4  Breath - filtering and body

  AUX Churn - stirs it up, then lets it settle

The screen tells you the state of the tide — still, or churning. AUX turns it over; it takes its own time settling back. Best played with long held chords and a lot of patience. It rewards being left alone more than being performed.
