Panel

Panel is a four-voice FM synth for Organelle M. Clean when you want it, and then there's the button.

  K1  FM depth   how far from a sine it goes

Played straight it's a usable FM synth — bell tones at low depth, harsh metallic ones high up, with a sub that keeps it grounded. AUX is the reason to own it. It records what you play into a buffer and reads it back off tape that has been through something: the heads wander ±75 ms so pitch will not sit still, a random gate cuts holes in it, and what comes through is quantised, hissy, dulled and saturated so it never resolves back to clean. It reads from after the synth, it smears what you just played rather than echoing it. Hold a chord, latch it, and keep going over the

top.
