Ward

Ward is a utility for Organelle M. It cleans a signal up before you do anything interesting to it. A noise gate with a peak-following threshold — it tracks the level down instantly and creeps back up slowly, so it closes on noise without chopping the front off notes. Behind it sit notches at 60, 120 and 180 Hz for mains hum and its first two harmonics, plus four more you can place wherever the room is ringing.

This is not an instrument. It is the thing you put in front of one. Useful with a noisy pickup, a hissy pedal chain, or a room with a fluorescent light in it.
